In his spare time, DJ Bedz writes commentary on various sociological topics ranging from identity and culture to rap as a musical art form to the conflict between underground rap and commercialism. Although DJ Bedz does not actively pursue journalism, he has had a few of these articles published in hip-hop magazines. Bedz really enjoys questioning his own ethics and debating issues for the purpose of staying connected to pulse of the hip-hop community.
